Arrived at the woods pretty late, around 415 p.m Temperature was around 90 degrees and it was extremely hot. A doe and a small 4 point buck appeared around 445 p.m and hung around feeding on soybeans for around an hour. The doe was a little far out for a clean shot. Around dark I observed a family of raccoons as well as an opposum, which sounded much like a sneaky deer. After that no further activity. Overall a good opening day of bow season.
